Avoid upload/download big file in Dropbox (PC)?

Hi, I would like to know if using Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) it is possible to avoid uploading or downloading a 10 Gb file to Dropbox Enterprise. Dropbox desktop app or web app are possible. I checked during a lot of time in the web (including Dropbox API to see if using code, session policy, file policy, dropbox governance actions..) and nothing found. Thanks!!

Yes, Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) can help you control file uploads and downloads based on the file size, among other properties. You can set up a File Policy to limit the size of the files that can be uploaded or downloaded from Dropbox.

Here are the steps to set up a file policy:

Navigate to Control -> Policies in the MCAS portal.

Click on "Create policy" and select "File policy".

In the "Policy template" section, select "Custom".

Give the policy a name and description.

In the "Filters" section, select the "File size" filter and set the condition to "Greater than" and the value to "10 GB".

In the "Actions" section, select "Block" and choose the applications you want this policy to apply to (in this case, Dropbox).

Click on "Create" to create the policy.

This policy will prevent any files larger than 10GB from being uploaded or downloaded from Dropbox.
