Hi,

I had a virtual company created in Azure.

I was claimed to my device (AVNET Azure Sphere MT3620 Development Kit), developer mode turned on, and a sample Blink app uploaded.

Everything works fine.

After a few years I returned to the device.

Unfortunately, the virtual company in Azure has expired.

The device is still up to date because it was still connected and the software was updated daily.

I couldn't find it on learn.microsoft.com, so I'll ask here.

If I have a device available, I have its Device ID, I have the Tenant ID, and its Name. This Tenant is selected on the device.

I still have the main account, but I no longer have the virtual company and its virtual account that the device was Claimed under.

Is there any recovery process?

If it's not, does that mean I can trash this device because I'll never install any apps on it again?

Did you try contacting the Microsoft Azure Support?

They may be able to help you recover the virtual company or provide guidance on how to proceed.

If the virtual company in Azure has expired, it may not be possible to recover the device as the virtual account associated with the device would have been deleted along with the company. Without an active virtual company, it would not be possible to claim the device and install apps on it.

If recovery is not possible, it does not necessarily mean that the device is useless. You may still be able to use the device for other purposes or for development work, but you would not be able to install apps on it using Azure Sphere.

Yes, it always goes to the website without the option to ask support.
