Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments

Outlook/Hotmail will does not allow me to Check my emails and wants me to use Microsoft Authentication code.
Please understand that the “outlook” tag is for issues related to Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Mac. From your description, do you mean you are using the hotmail or outlook.com account? If this is the case, based on my research, you can refer to the document below to turn off the 2 step authentication and check if it helps.
Turning two-step verification on or off for your Microsoft account
- Go to [Security settings ]and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Under the Two-step verification section, choose Set up two-step verification to turn it on, or choose Turn off two-step verification to turn it off.
- Follow the instructions.
