I mistakenly performed an operation while using the Zotero plugin to insert citations, which caused bookmarks to be automatically generated when copying text in Word on my Mac. I have already disconnected Word from Zotero and deleted Zotero, but Word continues to generate bookmarks. What should I do to stop Word from generating bookmarks automatically?
Which are the specific steps you follow when bookmarks are created for you?
Note that Word will create bookmarks when you copy content and paste it as a linked object. There is no way around that.
