I have assigned OneDrive License to one of my users. I have default OneDrive Set to 5120 GB in my Admin Portal, But why can't I assign 2T Storage to the user from dropdown ' maximum storage for this user'?

Also, if I set to 'same as organization default limit per user' and he used more than 1024 GB in one month than what will happened? We paying $12 per month for user for OneDrive Licenses. How does the cost affect?

    1. If you increase to more then 1024 GB there is no changes on the cost.
    2. Depending on your plan and the number of licensed users, you can increase this storage up to 5 TB.

    Before requesting an increase you need at least five licenses that include OneDrive Plan 2, you must assign at least one license to a user, and a single user must have already filled 90% of their 5 TB storage.

    If you change a user's license, the available storage space is updated automatically within 24 hours after they access OneDrive.
