Hello @Rajkumar

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A. The behavior you are getting is expected by design. This is because as per Azure Cloud Shell User permissions

Permissions are set as regular users without sudo access. Any installation outside your $Home directory isn't persisted.

Hi @Rajkumar ,

Seems like my statement above has been misread. These are the 2 limitations we have:

Permissions are set as regular users without sudo access i.e, is for all users. As per the security & compliance, by default user will be granted permissions that of a regular linux user. So no sudo access.

Any installation outside your $Home directory isn't persisted i.e, with regular access as defined above you could not perform any admin task outside home directory.
