This app has started giving me 8 numbers instead of 6 how can I go back to 6 numbers?

Hi I have recently changed phones and reinstalled all my apps and now when they ask for the authentication code I log into the app and it now gives 8 numbers and now I can’t log in to anything because my apps ask for 6. How can I change this back to the original 6 numbers for the code so I can log into my accounts

    You can change the verification method, such as phone verification. In addition, you can contact the administrator to reset your password.

    As Willenmy said, if your Teams account can change how you authenticate to sign in. You can sign on here to manage the authentication devices.
