We are wondering which type of licenses allow Visual Studio Code Dev Containers. We assume that the Enterprise level has it since it is the subscription that supports the largest amount of features. How about VS professional license? Does it also support VS Code Dev Containers?

    Hi @Antonio, David Albert,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

For Visual Studio Code Dev Containers, you can check its license. It is installed in Visual Studio Code instead of Visual Studio. If you have a license for Visual Studio Code, you can use the extension.

If you have more questions, please post it to the Stack Overview tagged visual-studio-code forum or GitHub repository where you would get professional support for this product.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Anna
