Dear Microsoft community,

I am writing to you on behalf of the IT Support Office at the Islamabad branch of Grant Thornton International. We are facing an issue with the Universal Script designed by our company which is used to check the compliance of machines in our network. The script is written in Powershell and is used to check if each machine in the network is updated with the latest Windows updates, drivers, and running VPN.

However, when we run the script, we are facing a problem where some laptops and PCs that are fully compliant are showing an unknown warning, while others that are non-compliant are showing an error for the specific issue that they have, such as outdated Windows updates. This is causing confusion among our IT team and making it difficult to determine the true compliance status of our machines.

We have tried various troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue but have been unsuccessful so far. As this issue is causing inconvenience and affecting the efficiency of our operations, we would appreciate if you could provide us with a solution or workaround as soon as possible.

We would be happy to provide any additional information or details that you may require to help us resolve this issue. Please do let us know if there is any other information that you need from us.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Best regards,

Muneeb Mushtaq

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to compliant powershell script.

Is this Script created by you ? Did you enable verbose or debug logging and check logs ?

Please explain more about your Environment.

I can see you have tagged Intune in this thread hence you can see Compliance status from Intune portal : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/protect/compliance-policy-monitor
