In the Azure portal I can open a subscription, choose Billing/Payment methods and see the credit cards I have registered.

When I click Replace -link or the ellipsis next to a credit card I get this screen

The problem here is that it will change the billing method for all my subscriptions.

How should do it so I would get different payment methods for different subscriptions? All subscriptions are pay-as-you-go and I log in with a personal Microsoft account so I don't have a Office 365 tenant or other that this is bound to.

@Mathias Rönnlund When you create a new subscription, you can specify a new credit card. When you do so, no other subscriptions get associated with the new credit card. You can add multiple new subscriptions, each with a unique credit card. However, if you later make any of the following changes, all subscriptions will use the payment method you select.

    • Make a payment method active with the Set active option
    • Use the Replace payment option for any subscription
    • Change the default payment method

Kindly note that this is by design. For more information, refer this document.
