Hello,

I use

Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2208 Build 16.0.15601.20148) 32-bit &

Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2208 Build 16.0.15601.20148) 32-bit

A co-worker has macros enabled and they work with files saved to the company network, however if she opens the file from an Outlook E-mail she's getting a security risk message and macros are blocked. Is there a way to configure outlook or excel to allow her to open the file from outlook and work with the file without needing to save the file to the network drive?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Please follow the steps below and see if it can help:

    1. In Excel, go to File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings... -> Trusted Locations.
    2. Select the checkbox of "Allow Trusted Locations on my network".
    3. Click the "Add new location..." button, add "c:\users", select the checkbox of "Subfolders of this location are also trusted":
      1
    4. Click all the OK buttons to exit out, reopen Excel.

In case the above doesn't work, could you share the security risk message prompted so that we can understand better about the situation?
