We changed upn in on prem directory but that also changing smtp primary address? How it is possible?

Hi Andy, This is happening on exchange server 2016, we have email address policy created for one domain but after changing upn suffix to another domain which was not added in any email address policy, it was automatically adding that domain suffix
Do you mean that other domain suffixes are automatically added to the domain that do not have an email address policy? The Exchange2019 documentation also applies to Exchange2016.
Yes .other domain suffix automatically adding .example , when user email is abc@contoso.com and upn is abc@contoso.com then if you change upn to abc@test.com ,your primary e-mail change yo abc@test.com
