I tried to install other softwares and they worked just fine
I'd suggest asking the vendor for help.

I was installing a 64-bit VSDC Video Editor to my Windows 7 PC, then suddenly, without any error message, Windows Installer closes and as a result, the program I was installing didn't install at all. I tried to install it again but it always suddenly closes. I tried to install other softwares and they worked just fine. Is the problem in Windows Installer or in VSDC? And what am I gonna do to install it properly?

Hi,
If you didn’t meet error when installed the program. It's hard to tell what's causing it. Because install other softwares worked fine, so Windows Installer service would be OK.
But for VSDC Video Editor, I consider that you could download another VSDC version of the corresponding system and reinstall. When we try to install, right click and run as Admin.
Also temporarily turn off the security software during installation.
