Hello Team,

I am setting up a new Windows Server 2019 which would be talking to a remote SQL 2019 running again on Windows Server 2019. However, in order to make things work as per business requirement, I was looking for the following tools -

  • SharedManagementObjects.msi
  • SQLSysClrTypes.msi
  • PowerShellTools.msi

Back in the days (SQL 2014), it was pretty straight forward to download all the .msi files from a single location. For Example - https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=42295&751be11f-ede8-5a0c-058c-2ee190a24fa6=True

However, I am looking for something similar or things have changed? :-S

Any help is very much appreciated!

While going through the MS articles, I have found this which I believe answers my own question - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/tools/download-sql-feature-packs?view=sql-server-ver15

However, I will keep this question open for any feedback.

You can download the installer from Microsoft® SQL Server® 2019 Feature Pack
