Someone please help.
It says I have 15GB of emails attachments included. But I exceed the cloud something storage.... I do not use the cloud.. I only use email ! How can this be ? Are you forcing users to buy cloud storage this way ??????

Microsoft indirectly telling that they can provide only 5GB. Google is straight forward in this case, 15GB means 15GB thats it.

MS only provides 5GB. the 15 GB outlook is in reality a gimmick or lie to lure in people. because before you can reach 15GB in outlook you are limited by the 5gb of attachments in your outlook. best is to move to Google.

Can we have an official MS explanation to this issue please? And let us know how to store outlook.com attachments in the email storage rather than in the MS cloud storage, which is only 5gb.

You have 5 GB of free cloud storage with your Microsoft account shared across your files and photos in OneDrive, attachments in Outlook.com, and your Microsoft 365 apps. You also get 15 GB of free Outlook.com email storage which is separate from your Microsoft cloud storage.

simple math. size<=5GB & size<=15GB, therefore, size<=5GB.
Please tell me how can you use 15GB mail, without breaking the 5GB limit ??

It is a complete nonsense. Microsoft say you have 15GB of free storage for email, separate from OneDrive storage. Apart from email attachments which are part of your Outlook storage. But you only have 5GB for Outlook storage. Net effect. 15GB in Microsoft Marketing BS world, 5GB storage in real world.
As someone who is involved with Microsoft business licences this follows their standard model. Complete nonsense that makes no sense to anyone but is intended to extract every penny possible from your pocket. Lack of clarity verging on dishonesty is the method for Microsoft these days. Pains me to say Google is the best option. This was always going to be the issue with 'cloud services'. Now we have your stuff, give us more money.
