I install Ubuntu on WSL, and It works, but when I try to start app that should works on it, they crash or do this error Wslg/service/createinstance/hcs_e connection_timeout. I already try to enable and disable HyperV or WSL and restart, but nothing works.

    Hello there,

Make sure hyper v, virtual machine platform and virtualization are on.

Step 1: Go to settings > (search) turn windows feature on / off

    Screenshot (7)

Step 2: If Windows Hypervisor Platform and Windows Machine Platform is unchecked, please check them, else uncheck and recheck them.

    Screenshot (8)

    Step 3: Reboot

Step 4: Open the terminal check, run command - wsl -l -v

should result in saying ubuntu is running in version 1/2.

The below thread discusses the same issue and you can try out some troubleshooting steps from this and see if that helps you to sort the Issue. https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/8693

Hope this resolves your Query !!
