My storage space didn't upgrade after i bought microsoft basic. Did something go wrong?.

I bought the microsoft basic yesterday for extra storage space and paid the 0,01 cents, but my one drive didn't change. I also didn't receive a confirmation email or anything with information. So I don't know if the payment was correct and it is still in process or if I need to confirm something.

I'd like some information about how this works and what to expect.

Did you buy Microsoft 365 Basic from Microsoft?

If so, please refer to 'How does Microsoft storage work?', and follow the steps on image below from the link.
