Good morning,
I have a new laptop that has been out of the box for 2 weeks. I have set it up to full working capacity and was able to install Teams in the first instance. On handing laptop over to user, the user was unable to run Teams, let alone open it. The user also experienced issues with Outlook in that it only opened in safe mode.
I reset the device back to factory, and re-built it. On installing Office, I then attempted to install Teams, but was met with a cannot install error every time.
I tried to install from Microsoft Store, as well as from the Teams website and from a program file - none of which work.
I then uninstalled Office, and tried again with Teams, but still no luck.
Could someone please help me with this?

Is it latest updated Windows 10 OS or else?
Based on my knowledge, Teams is available for 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows (8.1 or later) and Windows Server (2012 R2 or later). On Windows, Teams requires .NET Framework 4.5 or later.
Moreover, if you are using latest updated Windows 10 OS, please create a new Windows user account and download latest version Teams desktop client see whether the problem still occurs.
In the meantime, please use the Teams web client (https://teams.microsoft.com) as a workaround.
