How to add Azure Site Recovery Replication Health metric to a custom dashboard?

I have Azure Site Recovery for a couple of different subscriptions in Azure. I would like to put a Replication Health metric from each subscription on to a single custom dashboard. Is it possible to do this and, if so, how is it done? I can put some metrics on a custom dashboard, but I have not been able to find this one. Thanks

Hello @Barry Wright Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to assist!

I understand that you have a requirement to build a custom dashboard to track replication health metrics of ASR for multiple subscriptions.

IMO, you need Azure Monitor metrics explorer. Azure Monitor metrics explorer is a component of the Azure portal that you can use to plot charts, visually correlate trends, and investigate spikes and dips in metrics' values. Use metrics explorer to investigate the health and utilization of your resources.

For more information refer to the link - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/essentials/metrics-getting-started

Hope this helps. Please post a reply if you need further assistance.

    Update:

Surfacing Azure Monitor metrics for ASR replication health is on our roadmap. No defined timelines to share when the feature will be available.

In the meantime, if your requirement is to get replication health summary in your dashboard – one option possible is:

1 – Create an Azure Monitor workbook

2 – Create new query, write an Azure Resource Graph query on your ASR protected items to get replication health summary, and render required chart/grid as widget

3 – Pin the widget to dashboard

Unfortunately, this didn't help. I ran into this problem earlier which is why I posed the original question. When I try to create a metric, I do not get the option to create one for Replication Health. I have only these two options: There isn't a metric there for Replication Health like the metric on the Recovery Services Vault page. User's image
