Hyper-V Server Hanging During Replication

I just installed a new Dell PowerEdge R250 running Windows Server 2022. I installed the Hyper-V role and am attempting to replicate 2 VMs from a Server 2016 Hyper-V host to the new server. The replica sends fine for the first 15-20 minutes and gets to about 15% quickly, but then the disk utilization on the new server spikes so bad the server locks up and the replication fails. I have tried removing the replication job and re-creating it several times but the same issue continues to happen. Both servers are on the same gigabit network. Any ideas?
