Teams無料版から有償版へアップグレードしたらグローバル管理者は変更できますか？

Teamsのグローバル管理者について、教えていただきたく質問せていただきます。

現在会社でteamsの無償場を利用しているのですが、それを立ち上げたグローバル管理者（A）が退職してしまいまして、管理者不在状態となっております。 それでは困るので、退職者のマイクロソフトアカウントにて私（B）がログインし、操作できる環境はあるものの、4月12日に無償版が使えなくなるとの通達があり、有償版へのアップグレードを現在検討しています。 アップグレード後は可能であれば、管理者の権限をグローバル管理者（A）から私（B）へ付与し、その後グローバル管理者（A）のアカウントを削除したいと考えています。 権限の付与については、以下URLを参考にしました。

以前Q&Aにて無償版の場合は、グローバル管理者を削除するとteamsが使えなくなってしまうと記載がありまして、優勝版の場合は上記作業を行っても問題なく稼働できますでしょうか。 ご存じの方がいらっしゃいましたら、ぜひご回答いただけますと幸いです。 何卒よろしくお願いいたします。

To my understanding, your question is:

Currently I am using Teams for free(classic) and would like to upgrade to Teams Essentials.

My organization is using a former employee's account (A) to manage the organization.

If we upgrade to Teams Essentials, can we re-assign A's admin role to another employee (B) and remove A's account?
