Some External Guest users getting error - "Cannot access without a work account"

Hello!

We recently started using LMS365 ( an external add-on ) and about half our users are guest users. Because of this we are heavily using Azure, powershell, etc to add the guest users in, along with Dynamic Groups to automatically enroll them in the right courses and give them the right permissions. Sometimes it works... and sometimes it doesn't. One of the biggest errors we are getting is "You can only access this site with a work account". This seems to be specific to gmail users, but not all gmail users. Some gmail users end up accessing the sites just fine. We are using this in training classes, and need them to get the access that day, so we have done some work arounds of adding them manually to the sharepoint site and the courses, having them clear their cache and usually after an hour or sometimes 2 hours of going back and forth with the trainer and trying different work arounds, they eventually get in. Its quite disruptive, time consuming and makes us look pretty disorganized. Its also causing some difficulties with groups that I don't have that much time to get them access. Has anyone dealt with this problem and have a clean process we could follow for giving guest users access?

Also - LMS365 works through SharePoint as well as Teams, so all the permissions are tied directly into regular 365 permission systems.

I posted this elsewhere and they told me to come here to post it. Just to reiterate, our sharing permissions and powershell process through Azure is working with some of the external users just fine. They get the invite, accept it, connect it to a Microsoft account or create a new one, and they access the sites we are sharing no problem. Some folks are going through the same process, but then getting the error above. From my digging, they all tend to be gmail users (but we have had some gmails work). Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
