    Hello, @TravisD-8247 !

    Where am I seeing this?

Subject: Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

Learning Path: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals: Describe cloud concepts

    Module: Describe cloud computing

Unit: (5 of 8) Define cloud models

What does the training mean when it says "on site" datacenters?

"On site" in this context is the same as "on-premises", which means that the datacenters are run on the premises of the person or organization running the datacenter rather than remotely. A remote datacenter would be offsite or a cloud based datacenter.

Finally, a private cloud may be hosted from your on site datacenter. It may also be hosted in a dedicated datacenter offsite, potentially even by a third party that has dedicated that datacenter to your company.

    I hope this is helpful!
