Set A Custom Lock Screen Image For Each User

Hello. I want to set a separate lock image for 2 users on my computer. Example: Let's say there are 2 users named a and b, I want each user to see the picture that I choose "settings > personalization > lock screen" and when that user is logged in, when I lock the computer with the "windows logo key + L", the selected picture appears. The picture set in this section becomes the lock screen picture of the other user when I change the user. I want the picture I set for the other user to appear in the same way as for the previous user, so I don't want the picture I set for one user to be the lock screen picture for the other user. Is it possible to make such a distinction?

I would be glad if you answer the question.

Thanks.

    Hello there,

You can use third-party tools to achieve your requirement but I doubt whether this can be done with native windows tools like GPO.

Group Policy allows you to enforce only one wallpaper for each user, so if you're looking to announce several events at once , all announcements will have to be placed on a single image

Another factor is that to apply the Group Policy and enable the new wallpaper, you will need to restart all of the computers involved or find a way to make all users do it.

To set a group wallpaper for all users in Active Directory you need to access the Users and Computer settings, click on the domain name and choose ‘properties’. From here you will find group policy tabs that will allow you to send a wallpaper to all computers and disable users from being able to change wallpaper.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
