Hi, I am getting a response time of around more than 2 secs on an average with the OCR API (standard tier) which is a lot for me, I want to know to how can I reduce this response time to less than a second if possible, the average resolution of images is 500*500.

If you are passing a URL then there could be latency if the service is unable to get the image data from source URL due to various network conditions.
If you are passing the image as binary then image size could cause some latency.
Some of the other factors that cause latency are discussed in the Face service API documentation but they hold good for OCR too. Do you see any of these factors that could cause high latency in your case?

2023-03-21T17:14:59.53+00:00 24666212 The region should be closer to your location or the source of the image to reduce latency. Changing the tier will help to increase the TPS which could be a factor for latency if you have large volume. For a single image processing at any point of time the tier change might not be required.
