Windows print spooler service stopped unexpectedly on server 2016

Recently the spooler started to crash a lot. this is happening multiple times a day and even at night. we have searched the internet for a fix but looks like nothing is helping.

i have disabled the bidirectional support, changed from LPR to RAW and i have updated the printer drivers to newest.

    1. Please try to disable SNMP from Printer properties.
    2. Run below commands to reapir system files from elevated prompt.

    • SFC /Scannow

    • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    1. Uninstall Printer driver and download new Drivers from Printer vendor website and Install x64 bit drivers.
    2. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
