Azure Form Recognizer (v2.1) container deployment appears to be storing request images and result json. Information available states that these images and results need to be kept for asynchronous calls of Post and Get Analyze results and data is deleted within 24hrs.

However it was found within a container deployment of Form Recognizer that the data had not been deleted even though a time period greater than 24hrs had passed.

Any assistance would be great!

@hai tran I believe you are referring to the data being stored for 24 hours if the cloud API of the service is used as mentioned here. If you have setup the container on local and only configured the container to send billing data to the resource then cognitive Services containers don't send customer data, such as the image or text that's being analyzed, to Microsoft.

I am checking internally if similar process runs on a container setup. Also, try running adding the following in your docker run command for the debug mode of logs to check if there is any process that is failing with your container.

Logging:Console:LogLevel:Default=Debug

Hai Tran Based on feedback from the FR container team the onprem containers for v2.1 should delete data every 48 hours. Could you please check if this is the behavior for your setup?

Hi @romungi-MSFT , thanks for the response (sorry for the delayed reply).

It's noted in our deployment of Form Recognizer that the files are not being removed after 48 hours and infact some files appear to persist since 2021, these were found within folders with the prefix "orck8s"
