This is not possible in Teams. Joining a private channel starts with adding users to your organization, and standard channels automatically inherit all team members, a step that can't be skipped. So, guests will definitely see the data of the general channel.

The group is shown on the right, and the change user permissions are displayed above, so it is grayed out. You need to add users before you can edit user permissions.
Hi @SokiGuo-MSFT , I did same first added user and then tried it but it did not show up and it came greyed out.

Is there any progress? The permissions here are to set some user access to the site's files.
I'm afraid these settings don't guarantee that users won't be able to view other channels and data. As mentioned above, members who join a private channel must be in the general channel. Instead, only members of the privacy channel can access the privacy channel's data. This is by design.
