I made a file sharing folder to deploy software in client computer but, when a user log in their computer and gonto network file, they able to see it. What do I have to do so they cant see the file no matter what?
Window server 2022 standard
To make a shared folder or drive hidden, simply add a dollar sign ($) to the end of the Share Name

@Dave Patrick After I made the file hides, my software isn't showing up in the client computer even though the group policed said applied. Why?
I guess I'm not sure what software you're asking about or how it relates to a hidden share.
