i have lenovo g50 and i want to update from windows 7 to windows 10 with iso and it's says (windows 10 installation has failed

    You could just use Microsoft's Update Assistant or the Media Creation tool to upgrade to Windows 10, https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10, you'll find the necessary downloads and instructions here. If you just need/want to upgrade using a USB flash drive and ISO, you may need to use a USB 2.0 flash drive. From the last time I remember doing this, the issue was with using a USB 3.0 flash drive when trying to go from Windows 7 or older.

    When there is a failed upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 the options are to troubleshoot the failed upgrade or to clean install Windows 10.

    The clean install method is using gatherosstate.exe.

    It is always best to make free or pay backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud before major upgrades.
