I cannot delete a shared mailbox in EOP (O365). NOT HYBRID.
EOP reports, "Error executing cmdlet"
How are you trying to delete it?

Do you want to remove this shared mailbox from your organization?
You can refer to this link to delete this mailbox from M365 Admin Center instead of from EOP:

No, because we are trying to delete a Shared Mailbox, not a User mailbox.
In my case, the mailbox used to be a user mailbox that was synced from on-premise AD. And because AzureAD thinks it is synced, you have to delete the user from A.D first.
Or convert the shared mailbox to a user mailbox, and remove the license. Then it will get deleted automatically.
