Hello everyone.

I was using the built-in VPN just fine yesterday. And when i woke up today and tried to connect to it, i get this error now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you using Azure VPN Gateway for P2S or a different VPN altogether?

If yes,

I see you are using certificate based authentication.

It's quite possible that the client certificate in your local PC has expired wrt the root certificate installed in Azure VPN.

Can you please validate this?

You can check this via :
User certificates/System certificates --> Personal --> Certificates -->
Check the Expiration date of your client certificate here.

Hi,

Can you check your system time is in sync and not out of sync? check the system tray and date/time should be as per your timezone. Also check the keys are valid and local certificates on the system are not expired, check the troubleshooting steps over here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/vpn-gateway-troubleshoot-vpn-point-to-site-connection-problems

Thank you for your answer, Jimmy.

I just went to the Time & Region settings in Windows and clicked on the "Sync now" button to make sure it is synced correctly, and the system tray does show it correctly. However, the error is still there.

As for the troubleshooting link you sent, i unfortunately could not find anything to help me with the issue i have on my PC. I will send you a screenshot of the error i see. Hopefully it can help clear the issue more.
