My school shut down and i need to get my email back

Last year my school shut down and i didn't get time to retrieve all my files before my email shut down. is there any way that i can get my email back so i can download these files.

    I'm sorry you couldn't back up all your data.

    Unfortunately, I don't have that good information to get the data back either.

    Several factors play a role in whether the data is still there.

    If your user account still exists and it still has a running office license, your emails and data could still be there.

    If your account has already been deleted, Microsoft's Soft Delete Lifecycle will apply.

    If the school does not have a backup of the email folders or documents, the data is probably no longer available.

    Can you still contact the school?

    Were you using a Microsoft 365 account offered by your school? If this is the case, I am afraid there's nothing we can do from the perspective of end users' side. So, you would have to try contacting the Exchange administrator of your school and see if they are able to re-enable your email account.
