Hi

I am using Microsoft Endpoint configuration manager to run updates, the issue is that the last edge update is not supporting windows server 2012 R2. There are still som instances of this in the environment, is there an solution to disable the edge update to those machines. Yes i know the support will stop this autumn.

    Hi @Knut S ,

This is a known issue. Cause of this issue is that the Edge Stable version 110 installation package does not contain the proper metadata to prevent it from being considered by WSUS to be applicable to Windows Server 2012/2012R2 platforms.

The fix required to correct this behavior has now been released.  WSUS administrators will not be required to make any changes.  Machines that were once displaying versions of Edge higher than 109 on Windows Server 2012R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1, or Windows 7 will now correctly suppress them from being applicable.
