Teams Copy Table Results in No Spaces or Tabs

I used to be able to copy rows or the whole table from someone's post in a Teams chat and paste in notepad or SQL and there would be at least a space between the cell data. Now there is no delimiter at all, just all the cell data shoved together. Only spaces between words in a cell remain. Can't paste into Excel, Word, Notepad, etc. without having to go back and put spaces/tabs between values. This started recently (least few months) and wondered if it was an update or some change in our Teams corporate configuration.

For instance, you see in chat:

UserFavorite ColorTelephoneJimRed111-2222SallyGreen333-4444ChrisOrange555-6666 copy and paste results in:

UserFavorite ColorTelephoneJimRed111-2222SallyGreen333-4444ChrisOrange555-6666

desired previously attainable result (text in angle brackets are not literal):

User <tab|space> Favorite Color <tab|space> Telephone <CRLF>

Jim <tab|space> Red <tab|space> 111-2222 <CRLF>

Sally <tab|space> Green <tab|space> 333-4444 <CRLF>

Chris <tab|space> Orange <tab|space> 555-6666 <CRLF>

    Hi @J Standlee

I tested in my lab and the behavior was the same: the format is not retained when pasting into other applications.

Please consider creating a post in the Teams Feedback forum to submit your feedback to Microsoft.

    Thanks for your understanding.
