Windows 10 to Windows 11 - Microsoft Q&A

Before Reading This: There is Notice Below! Hello! For Some Reason I Have This "Windows 7/10's Start Menu & Sounds/Sound Schemes" Nostalgia where I always Like/want to Stay on Windows 10. But my PC came with Windows 11 but I Downgraded it, I do like some Windows 11 additions/features. My Question is: Should I Upgrade to Windows 11 straight away(but I can still go back) or Should I wait until End of 2023, Wait Until Mid/End of 2024 or Should I Just wait Until Either 1. Windows 10 has Ended Support or wait until it's close to Windows 10's end of Support. Because I just want to give Windows 11 time to make itself a more stable! Just in Case: Thank you for Answer In advance! Notice: My PC is Above of Recomended & Minimum System Requrments to Run Windows 11.

    Hello there,

    It is always advisable to update the device to latest version as security updates will be passed for out of support devices

    Microsoft will retire the Windows 10 operating system on October 10, 2025.

    If you want to move back and forth from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and Windows 11 to Windows 10 this may be able to performed in less than one hour with backup imaging.

    This then would enable a computer user to test drive an operating system and at any time to return to the operating system of preference.

    Method:

    Make free or pay backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud.

    Restore an image whenever you want to return to the preferred operating system.

    An upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 has a default 10 day go back period.

    The go back period can be modified to 60 days.

    The process can be repeated.

    Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.
