My Windows 11 downgraded by itself.

Question

So as presented in the title my windows 11 downgraded itself the next day to windows 10 without doing anything (Turned the computer on the next day it was already back in 10), small detail it deleted my folders on the desktop and required me to download internet browser again can I somehow go back to 11? Since i was already planning on staying on that version.

Edit: After few hours I got option to update to 11 once again this time I hope it won't downgrade itself

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Windows 11 reverted to Windows 10.

If the most recent build is not applied to the system correctly and completely, this problem could arise. I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem.

I would suggest you to please follow below method to resolve the issue.

1. Run Disk Cleanup from Select C:\ Drive from Properties- > General -> Disk Cleanup - >Cleanup system files - > Chose cleanup older Windows
2. Rename C:\Windows.old to C:\Windows.old.bkp

3.Cleanup below Temp folders

C:\Windows\Temp

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp

4. Run sfc /scannow from elevated prompt.
5. Run below DISM command from elevated prompt.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

6. Disable fast startup using below command.

Powercfg -h off

7. Then try to Upgrade to Windows 11 after upgrade perform again Windows update to apply any missing updates for Windows 11.
