I would like to set Microsoft always remember password

Hello. I am asking about remembering password while using Microsoft Edge.

OS is Windows 10+. And we are using proxy for security, so I would like to set Microsoft Edge always remember the user's name and password of proxy.

I tried setting those several times with searching manuals, but it was not available.

Let me know how I can deal with it.

Normally you'll only need to turn on "Automatically save passwords" in Edge settings. How does your proxy work in Microsoft Edge? Is it an extension or something? Do you have a URL for your proxy login page?

My proxy in Microsoft works well, but I want to set Automatically remembered, so I want to skip entering all the letters.

Yes, I have a URL for proxy login page.

Since you have a URL for the proxy login page, you can directly set the URL, username and password in Settings --> Profiles --> Passwords --> Add password. If it is successfully configured, you will see the username and password autofilled in the login page.

Hi @Lee DaYeon (李多硏) ,

If this solution does not work for you, then it is likely that the login page has disabled the autocomplete attribute in HTML code, so Microsoft Edge won't be able to autofill your username and password. If you are willing to take a look, you can try to find it in F12 Developer Tools.
