If you suspect that its due to Windows update then you can try to Uninstall recent updates Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates . View update history -> locate the latest or last update you want to remove, and then select Uninstall next to it.
- Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
- Run sfc /scannow from elevated prompt.
- Run below DISM commands from elevated prompt.
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Uninstall Audio drivers from Device Manager and Install latest one from vendor website.
