One possible way to obtain a list of IP addresses associated with the domain blob.xxxx.store.core.windows.net
, which is likely using DNS round-robin, is to perform a DNS lookup using tools such as nslookup
or dig
. However, as the IP addresses associated with the domain may change frequently, there may not be a definitive list of all potential IP addresses..
Is there a list of all potential ASR replication target IPs (blob.xxxx.store.core.windows.net)?
I had been using routing to send all traffic from our ASR servers to the target IP for replication - currently 20.150.87.36. I had discovered the target IP in my firewall logging and sent the traffic out of a low priority data path. But the address changed in the middle of the night and all that traffic took a path that interfered with other traffic. Is there a full list somewhere of all the potential ASR replication target destination IP addresses? The target is blob.xxxx.store.core.windows.net and associated with the cbengine.exe process. Seeking to find all possible IP values of blob.xxxx.store.core.windows.net. Thank you.

You can find Azure IPs per service/region here- https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=56519
I understand that you are having issues with Azure IPs changing from time to time. Please note that this is expected behavior i.e., the IPs are dynamic. We do not have the option to assign a static IP address to a storage endpoint at this point yet. Here is the feature request for the same- https://feedback.azure.com/d365community/idea/ffd48800-d4e8-ec11-a81b-0022484ee92d. Please upvote it.
Hope this helps. Please do let me know if you have any further questions and I will be glad to assist you further.
Thank you!
