Hello everyone, I have been using truenas for about 6 to 8 months now. Using my window eleven machine I would connect to the server by going to file explorer and under network there is a truenas icon that i clicked on and it would pop up a credentials log in screen (attached). The log in screen says that my username and password is incorrect before I type anything. When i type my credentials i get an error (screenshot included). I can connect to my truenas server using my browser and am able to connect to the server using the network truenas link on my daughter's laptop with window ten with no problem. But not through that truenas link in file explorer on my windows eleven computer that i was able to before. Prior to this issue I updated my bios. I did not try to log on prior to the update but three hours after the update i was unable to log on. I apreciate any help. Thank you

    Hello there,

You can try to uninstall the update and see if that helps

If all computers connected to the network don’t support the same type of encryption, problems like this are bound to occur.

Step 1 Disable the antivirus program

Step 2 Check the firewall settings..

Steps 3 Go to control panel- user account-manage credentials and from the save password

valet remove from the list of the save password and open again the network and remove the save credential.

The below thread discusses the same issue and you can try out some troubleshooting steps from this and see if that helps you to sort the Issue.

I just wanted to let everyone know that at this time I have fixed my problem going on two weeks now. I just added a username and password to the window credential manager. I was told to remove any username and password in credential manager but at that time i had no username or password in credential manager. Now I do and everything is working. Thank you for your time.
