Change an outlook email land line number to cell phone number

Please help have a live email and outlook email and need help changing phone number on file

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Change your Phone number to Outlook and Live email accounts.

1. From Browser Log in to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com.
2. Click Security.
3. Under Security basics, click on UPDATE INFO button under Update your security info.
4. Verify the last 4 digits of your phone number and it will send you the verification code at that number.
5. Enter the verification code correctly and you will be redirect to the Security settings page.
6. Beside of the phone number displayed on your computer, there is a 7. Remove button. Click on it to remove your number.
7. Once the phone number is remove, click on Add security info add the new number and click Next.
8. Enter the code that was sent to your new number.

9.Once the code is entered correctly, it will display the new information.
