How to send a notification to the assignee if the state remains the same for a long time in Work Item?

I wonder if there's any way to send a notification if the assignee doesn't notice the work item or hasn't changed the state. Can I set a notification configuration that will be triggered if the assignee hasn't changed the state for like three days, and it will send an email to remind the assignee? Thank you.
