What do I do?

Question

I forgot my password on my computer and now the only way to fix it is to reset my computer.

If i use local re-install will it need me to put my licence key once again because I don't know where to find it

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Windows 11 forgot password.

If you have used Microsoft account for your Windows 11 then you can Reset it using below steps.

1. On Windows 11 sign-in screen, you can type an incorrect login password and you will see a Reset password link. Click Reset password link.
2. Then you can answer the security questions. Windows will then let you enter a new password for your local account. Set a new Windows 11 new account password and remember it.
3. Try to Log into your computer with the new password

If it Does not work then you can Install it Windows 11 on the same computer but before that try to Recall Windows 11 product key or account used for Activation.
