Azure VPN Client hangs on startup

Good morning,
I've downloaded and installed the Azure VPN Client from the Microsoft Store.
Unfortunately I am not able to start the application. It hangs on startup and closes after an amount of time automatically without any direct error message given.
In the Windows Eventlog there are two messages given: Windows Error Reporting and Application Hang.
I already reinstalled the app and restarted the device multiple times but it doesn't change anything.

I understand that you've downloaded and installed the Azure VPN Client from the Microsoft Store, but you are unable to start the application. It hangs on startup and closes after some time automatically without any error message.
Could you please make sure that the Azure VPN Client has permission to run in the background.

If the client has permission to run in the background and you've already tried re-installing the client, then we would need to create a support request as it would require a deeper investigation by collecting the Application Dump from the machine to further debug the issue. So, if you have a support plan, I request you file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support.

thank you for your message! The Azure VPN Client already had the permission to run in the background, i rechecked the options. Could you help in getting this one-time free technical support ticket like you said?

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Azure VPN client not opening.
- Please try to delete the old VPN client configuration files from C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Network\Connections<VirtualNetworkId>, and then Start VPN Client again.
- Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
