Team owners are unable to create tabs on a team

Hello

Please I need your help on this issue.

Team owners are unable to create tabs on a team using the "make this a tab" context menu in the file library.

It works when using the + sign on the tabs menu.

The context menu gives the error "missing scope permissions on the request." https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1188410/missing-scope-permissions-on-the-request-api-requi has several users reporting the same issue.

Same issue (see image). As mentioned, the standard + icon in the channel header option still works (but, infuriatingly, is far less useful now that it defaults not to the current channel files, or even to the current team, but to everything in MS365, forcing me to navigate multiple extra clicks to get to a file!).

It seems that the backend has changed compared to last week and many people are affected. You can try the following workaround as a workaround that you can use until the bug is fixed:

Change to a different tab that is not a file storage tab. Then you can create a new tab using the plus sign on the tab bar.
