If you have a new phone and do not have access to the old phone that had Microsoft Authenticator installed, you can still recover your account and set up the app on your new phone using one of the following methods:
- Use a recovery code: If you have a recovery code that you saved when you first set up Microsoft Authenticator, you can use this code to recover your account on your new phone. During the setup process, select "Enter a recovery code" and follow the prompts to enter the code.
- Use your phone number: If you previously added a phone number to your account for account recovery, you can use this option to verify your identity and set up Microsoft Authenticator on your new phone. During the setup process, select "Use phone number" and follow the prompts to enter your phone number and receive a verification code.
