i believe the summary.txt file is the unique file that says summary in this folder path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Setup Bootstrap\Log\20230323_170145 Summary_renoa_C-_a4__T__20230323_170145 and that file content what says there; i beleive that because the window that showed me the error code said that the SQL Server installation registry folder was located in that folder path

It's funny, because the install log is English, but this particular part is in Spanish. I guess because configuring WMI is a Windows operation (WMI is after all a Windows component).

What is also funny is that rather than rolling back as Setup normally do when there is an error, Setup appears to continue and installs the engine and configures telemetry. Possibly, the error is considered benign. If so, you should be able to use SQL Server except for the part that uses WMI, which is essentially SQL Server Configuration Manager.

I guess the problem in the filepath is 3028. That is Spanish (Some country). You probably only have 1033 (English United States). One like to think that it should be possible to install an English SQL Server on a non-English OS, but I don't know the fine print there.

I changed the system locale to Español (España), but the installation succeeded. I will have to give up the attempt to reproduce the error you are running into. (I wanted to report it to Microsoft.)

Question remains how to get your installation to succeed.

Try this:

1. Open a command prompt with "Ejecutar como administrador".
2. Change folder to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Shared.
3. Run this command mklink /D 3028 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Shared"

This creates a symlink so that the folder 3028 points back to the Shared folder, where the file sqlmgmprovider.mof presumably is during install.

Actually, if you see that file in the Shared folder, you could just try copying it to regular subfolder 3028. (I don't see that file in my Shared folder, but I assume that Setup removes it when it is done.)

I can't guarantee that this will work, but give it a try.
