I have 2 remote pc"s

  1. windows 10 pro wired remote port 3389
  2. windows 7 pro wireless port 3392

I downloaded mircosoft remote desktop app. That app is on my phone and I can remote into both remote PC's when I'm in my own network or outside of my network different town etc. The windows remote desktop client works on both computers back and forth when im in my own network but not with WAN. I get the error message PC cant be found on network, but if I pull out my phone and I connect with no issues. The PC i'm using from a different location to remote into my PC's at home is a windows 10 pro computer. Which I know works, because Iast week I was able to use windows remote desktop to remote into my windows 7 PC and now I cant, i get the error "wrong username or password" However I type the same username and password into mircosoft desktop app it works.

The remote PC windows 10 at my house. I can get access from anywhere on mircosoft desktop app but windows remote desktop only work with LAN If I try WAN I get PC cant be found which doesnt make sense. Ive used canyouseeme and it shows both ports open, same on router, also said firewall is not blocking any of those 2 ports. I'm stuck ay help would be awesome

Thanks

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to RDP.

This looks to be some connection blocking in firewall or router.

    1. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
    2. Please try to reboot your Router and ensure NAT rule or RDP port forwarding in place with your Public or Live ip.
