I have been trying to repair an old Exch 2019 cu8 environment to get it up to CU23 and have had a number of issues. I think most are now resolved but I am noticing that both the Default Website and the Exchange Backend both show the globes with small question marks. The bindings are correct, I can provision using activesync, I can login via OWA and have no idea what I am missing.

    Hi @Penny Bristow ,

“I think most are now resolved but I am noticing that both the Default Website and the Exchange Backend both show the globes with small question marks. The bindings are correct, I can provision using activesync, I can login via OWA and have no idea what I am missing.”

If your binding settings are correct, OWA and other functions are used normally, then it’s normal. You don't need to worry about it or make any changes.

In my environment, I have the same question marks on the Sites icon. Based on my test, it turns out that if you have multiple bindings of the same protocol and the icon will be just a globe, but when you add additional protocols to the same site, then you will get the question mark.
